This is a wonderful large community of authors who use their words to help bring love, dignity and compassion to those who live with Alzheimer’s and dementia, their loved ones, caregivers, friends, and the professionals who support them. I am thrilled to be among this group of writers who are writing about the most important disease our our generation.

Established in 2001 as the non-profit education and research organization of the New York State Health Facilities Association (NYSHFA) and the New York State Center for Assisted Living (NYSCAL). Over 300 skilled nursing and 100 assisted living facilities across New York State are member organizations of NYSHFA and NYSCAL.
